The seaside town of Las Grutas is located in the atlantic area of Rio Negro province (state), in the gulf of San Matias. 15 Km (10 miles) from the city of San Antonio Oeste, town council from wich it depends politically and administratively. 

Las Grutas is the most important beach destination in La Patagonia, with a very low rain pattern during the summer time, with extensive beaches of thin-white sand, protected by high cliffs and a sea wich temperatures ranged from 22°C (71°F) to 25°C (77°F) 

Also, all kind of activities can be done, as scuba diving, fishing and excelents and fun excursions.
